Get involved with random acts of kindness

One thing that we have seen all over the world is that kindness is prevailing in these uncertain times. We have learnt that communities have come together in new ways to support each other.

The added benefit of helping others is that it is also good for our own mental health too - helping to reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing. But it also important to make time for ourselves and make sure that we make the effort to be kind to ourselves.

The theme for this year's Mental Health Awareness Week is kindness and what a perfect time for such a theme, let's hope that the lessons being learnt through this dreadful situation reign long into the future.
