Accounts and our Annual General Meeting

Join us for our online AGM on Wednesday 14th September 2022 at 1pm, lunch from 12noon at the Centre.

During the event we will be reviewing the year, approving the 2021/22 accounts, and approving changes to our Trustee board.

We are holding the AGM at the Centre and will also have online attendance available through Zoom - so you can book a place for whichever option suits you.

If you are feeling unwell on the day, please do not attend the event in-person but use the Zoom link instead.

As a member-led organisation, the AGM is your opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and vote so we would encourage you to book a place for this event. When you book a place you will have the opportunity to submit a question that you would like answering during the event.

The event is free and all are welcome.

Book a place, your e-mail booking confirmation will provide you the link to use on the day if you are attending virtually. If you don't receive this for any reason, or you have difficulty booking please call 01244 678619 or e-mail [email protected]

Following the AGM we will be drawing the winner of our prize draw for our pair of Charity Ball tickets.

  • Receive and approve the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2022

Are you a member?

If you are a member we would encourage you to attend the AGM. Have your opportunity to ask questions and use your opportunity to vote. Voting will be carried out by show of hands at the Centre and by using online polls if you are attending virtually.

The following membership categories are entitled to vote under our Rules:

  • Person with a Neurological Condition (‘PwNC’) 
  • Carer Members 
  • Staff/Trustee (Non-Service User)

If you are unable to attend or you don't wish to vote on the day, please vote by proxy by completing and returning the form below.

I, (your full name) being a Member of the Neuro Therapy Centre hereby appoint (name of appointed person or the Chair) to vote on my behalf at the Annual General Meeting of the Neuro Therapy Centre.

Changes to the Trustee Board

Our Trustees serve on the board for a limited time before coming up for re-election. This year we have three members of the board who are due for re-election they are: Derek Sanders; Chris Jones, and Barbara Burke.

We are also officially welcoming one new board member Hilary Harris, who is a retired GP as well as being a passionate supporter of charities and the work they do.

Our Accountants

Champion Accountants have been been providing their services to the Centre for a number of years. It is proposed that they continue to  act as our accountants, overseeing the production and audit of our end of year accounts next year.
