The Perfect Pancakes

All you need to get the perfect pancakes this pancake day is to follow the 3-2-1 rule. 

  • 300ml of milk
  •  2 eggs
  • 100g of flour

Simple!

Make sure your pan is preheated and oiled. 

Mix the ingredients in a bowl and add all the ingredients and mix well, making sure there are no lumps.

Once the pan in heated, add a thin layer of mixture to the pan and spread evenly.

Once brown, flip over! (Make sure you show your skills!)

When the pancake is brown remove from heat and cover with your favourite toppings!

American Pancakes

(Make sure to use a small pan for this one!) 

  • 2 ½ tsp of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 30 grams of butter, melted
  • 300ml milk
  • 225g plain flour
  • Butter for frying

Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl. Mix well and make a well in the centre.

Beat in the eggs, melted butter and milk and transfer to a jug.

Heat a small pan and add a small bit of butter for frying. Add a scoop of your mixture to the pan. Once the top side is bubbling its time to flip.

Once the underside is brown remove from heat and cook the remaining mixture.

Serve with maple syrup or strawberries and cream.
