I am a 17 year old A-level student at Calday Grange Grammar School and I live in Chester. Since September 2023, I have been lucky enough to be given an opportunity to volunteer at the Neuro Therapy Centre and since volunteering, I have learnt about a range of neurological conditions, understanding how they impact the people who have them, and their loved ones. Spending time at the Centre has been a privilege and has supported me to empathise with the mental and physical struggles people with neurological conditions have to live with every day. I feel passionate about the Centre and the vital work it undertakes in supporting people. It provides a great community, supports rehabilitation and ultimately, plays an immense role in changing peoples lives.

I will be fundraising for the Centre by attempting the Welsh 3000s challenge on 1st June, with the support of my brother and two friends, who will be doing it alongside me. In order to complete the Welsh 3000s Challenge, we are required to have been to the top of all 14 of the mountains over 3000 ft in Snowdonia, within the space of 24 hours, without using any form of transport. The length is about 24 miles, but the climb to the start point and down from the finish point can take it to over 30 miles in total. It is considered as one of the most difficult walks in the UK, encompassing onerous ascents and precarious descents, so we are training hard for it and making sure we don't underestimate its difficulty.

I would be so grateful if you could sponsor me on this endeavour, and you can do so by donating money via this page. The Centre can only provide the work it does out of the kindness of donations, so any contribution would be very much appreciated.
