SUE HARDMAN

Some 25 years ago I was diagnosed with Progressive MS and by 2005 my condition had deteriorated to such an extent that I spent months in hospital. The fact that I now live an active, healthy life, in spite of my MS, is largely due to the therapies, facilites and support I have received from the Centre.

One of the therapies on offer is "Aqua-therapy". Two years ago and with some trepidation (as I could no longer swim!) I joined the group. With their help, I have learned to swim again and am now able to swim 25 lengths of a full sized pool.
Over the month of June I shall be completing the challenge of swimming 100 lengths (over 1 & 1/2 miles) in aid of the Centre.
