Wednesday 1st February 10am - 12pm

Following on from our online conference around the impact of the Access to Exercise project in West Cheshire.

This workshop is targeted for primary care and social prescribing professionals to support discussion and action planning around the findings and recommendations of the project.

During the life of the project in particular in relation to social prescribing the potential offer to people living with neurological conditions to access exercise and activity from primary care grew.

The report also states that:

‘Health professionals are influential figures for people living with neurological conditions who can actively support or make exercise participation less likely dependent on the way it is talked about.’

We would like to meet with health care professionals who work in and around primary care and the commissioners to discuss the findings of the report and how primary care can enable greater access to opportunities for people living with neurological conditions.

The workshop will be carried out over Zoom, book a free place below to receive the link.

This project is a partnership between the Neuro Therapy Centre, Brio Leisure and the Walton Centre, with funding from Sport England and support from the MS Society, Parkinson’s UK and Sheffield Hallam University.
