January is the perfect time to start a new activity or positive habit. Why not choose now to take the opportunity to make a positive change in your life?

We have some ideas below, but we'd love to hear yours too. Drop us a line at [email protected] to let us know your challenge. To add extra accountability why not make your challenge a fundraising activity to help support the Centre and make a one-off donation or ask others to support you.

  • if you have a furry friend or you have a friend or relative who has why not plan some regular dog walking session. This month is National Dog Walking Month after all.
  • commit to an extra virtual exercise session each week
  • drink more - water that is! Start a daily habit of better hydration
  • can you fit more fruit and veg into your diet?
  • re-connect with a friend you haven't chatted to for a while - make that call you've been putting off, or write a catch-up e-mail or letter
  • try a new session - meet others at our weekly Gab & Go sessions, or if you're a Carer why not try our chat session to meet others.
  • start that hobby you've always wanted to try - would you lie to write a poem each day? Pick-up that drawing set you brought years ago or start a new knitting project.
