The Neuro Therapy Centre Choir, the Movers n’ Shakers, welcomes new members.

Singing is acknowledged as having a positive impact in itself, but is particularly beneficial for people with Parkinson’s, as it exercises the face muscles, keeps the voice strong and helps to prevent swallowing difficulties.

Our choir was launched in 2012, and is open to any member of the Neuro Therapy Centre or their carers. It has now become well established as a valued therapeutic activity for Centre users, and has given a number of public performances throughout the region.

The Movers n' Shakers Choir meets at the Centre between 1.15pm and 3.15pm on Fridays.
