Mark Hulse took part in this year’s Chester Marathon to support the Neuro Therapy Centre, the Centre his father attends.

Mark challenged himself to finish the marathon in less than three hours and managed to finish with a time of two hours 58 minutes and raised an incredible £2,726.

Mark says,

“The weather was perfect for running and the crowd along the route was fantastic. I set myself this challenge because my father has Parkinson’s disease and he attends the Centre a number of times each week. The Centre provides him with excellent therapeutic, practical and emotional support. Raising money for the Centre and having my friends and family support me made it a very special day.”

The Neuro Therapy Centre in Saltney supports nearly 500 people with neurological conditions including MS, Parkinson’s, ME and MND, and their carers. Centre Manager, Jane Johnson-Cree says,

“We would like to thank Mark for all his hard work and congratulate him on achieving such a fantastic result. We rely on the fundraising efforts of our supporters and we cannot thank Mark enough for raising such a large amount”
